Life has a funny way of taking its sweet time to lead us to where we were meant to be all along. For Katie & Steve, the journey has brought them to where they truly belong - together. Between the two of them, they have four bright, spirited and adorable children - and one very busy life! It is truly inspiring to witness how well they have blended their two families together as one.

This past Saturday, Katie & Steve celebrated their first day as husband and wife surrounded by their closest family and friends. One of the things that made their wedding day unique was the fact that their entire bridal party was made up of kids! Katie's daughter Ella, Steve's daughter Kaitlyn, as well as their nieces Kelly and Kyla served as bridesmaids. On the groom's side were Steve's son Michael, Katie's son Ryan, as well as their nephews Declan and Liam. Let's just say it was quite a lively group! They were all such a joy to be around. The ceremony took place at the First Baptist Church in Beverly. Officiated by Rev. Kent Harrop, it was a simple, lovely service. One particularly special moment was their "sand ceremony" - each of the six members of their new family poured a different color sand into a glass jar, symbolizing each unique individual becoming a part of a larger, more meaningful whole. For Katie, having her beloved grandfather Don in attendance at her wedding made the day extra special.

After the ceremony, we all made our way over the bridge to lively downtown Salem for an unforgettable reception at Finz on the waterfront. Both Katie & Steve have such wonderful families and fun friends, so the evening was full of good times! The food was outstanding, the cake from local favorite Cakes for Occasions was absolutely delicious...and Billy & Napoleon from Nu Image DJs got the party going with some seriously awesome dance music! Everyone had a wonderful evening, and we were so honored to be a part of it.

Katie & Steve, congratulations on your marriage! Documenting your wedding day was truly a pleasure from start to finish. We are honored to call you our friends, and wish you & your beautiful family all the best!
